On Monday; Feb 13, 2012 on Person of Interest; Detective Carter's number comes up. This raises quite an issue for Reese and Finch.

Finally; my two favourite crime-fighters are back on TV in Australia. Tonight’s episode brought up big problems for Reese and Finch when the machine landed on Detective Carter’s number. Detective Carter is the same detective that has been trying to arrest John Reese since the beginning of the series. Tonight Carter finds out she has enemies and that Reese will move mountains to protect her.

Over 300 People Are After Detective Carter

Seems like this cop has made many enemies during her career as a policewoman, detective and time served in the US Army. A thug running guns, an organized crime boss and an abusive husband whose wife Carter is trying to protect.

Reese however, is one step ahead of all of them. He arrives at the gun runner’s workshop before Carter and confiscates all the firearms. Meanwhile the gun-runner is hiding out in a secret location. Reese then intercepts a phone call from the abusive husband and arrives at his house before Carter essentially stopping the man from killing his wife. Reese is also close by in disguise; watching while Carter arrests the gun-runner.

Reese Saves the Day as Usual

Carter makes it through the day and seems to be heading home when Reese who is following her, notices she is walking downtown instead of uptown where she lives. The twist at the end is something viewers won’t see coming, but suffice to say Reese eliminates the threats against Detective Carter for a while at least.

Remember the mobster in episode 7 who escaped from Reese, well turns out his name is Elias and he wants Carter dead and so don’t be fooled, that story arc is not over yet.

Don’t Miss Upcoming Episodes

In episodes yet to be aired in Australia we will see the return of Zoe from episode 6, “The Fix.” Zoe was the woman who got paid large amounts of money to solve problems. Paige Turco reprises her role next week to help out Reese and Finch. If you remember John Reese was extremely captivated by this woman, and there was great chemistry between the two actors so I’m hoping that Paige Turco will be cast on Person of Interest as a regular. Expect to see Zoe’s return around March 2012.

Next Monday, Finch’s machine spits out four social security numbers. This should be interesting watching Reese and Finch trying to track and prevent crime that is supposed to affect four people. It would seem like they have their hands full enough tracking one person.

Stay tuned also for Reese and Carter to team up again to work together on a case. In-fact they will be teaming up quite a bit in upcoming episodes, so it should make for very interesting and entertaining viewing.
